Recommended application methods
Application methods for oil palm
1.
5gm
Top dress Sumicoat® and lightly cover it with soil during seed planting.
2.
50gm
Apply Sumicoat® into the cored hole at transplanting of 3 months old pre-nursery seeding (sufficient nutrients for ±9 months).
3.
300-400gm
Apply Sumicoat® into the planting hole prior to planting of 12 months old seeding (sufficient nutrients for ±1 year).
4.
600-800gm
Bury Sumicoat® into 4 holes dug 6 inches deep. Hole are equally spaced along drip circle. Supplement application will be decided upon leaf analysis (sufficient nutrients for ±1 year).
1-1.5kg
Bury Sumicoat® as above.
